Feesify Privacy Policy

Feesify is a school finance management system used by school administrators, principals, and bursars to manage student fee records, payments, reports, and school account operations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

We may collect school profile information, principal and bursar account information, student records, payment details, uploaded school logos, report data, and technical information needed to operate the app. This can include names, phone numbers, email addresses, school identifiers, admission numbers, class details, balances, receipts, and payment references.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to create and manage school accounts, authenticate users, record payments, calculate balances, generate reports, export official documents, support payroll-related operations, improve reliability, and provide user support when requested.

4. Data Storage and Processing

Feesify uses Firebase services, including authentication and cloud data storage, to securely process and store app data. School and finance records are stored only for operational use inside the app and are accessed according to user roles such as principal, bursar, and administrator.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only when necessary to operate the service, such as with trusted infrastructure providers like Firebase, or when a user intentionally exports, prints, or shares a report or statement from the app.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as the school account remains active or as needed for school finance recordkeeping, reporting, audit support, and operational continuity. Schools may request account review or support for data-management questions through the contact channels below.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account, school, and payment information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security.

8. Children and Student Data

Feesify is intended for use by authorized school personnel and administrators, not by children directly. Student information entered into the app is managed by the responsible school or institution using the service.

9. User Choices and Access

Authorized users may review and update certain account or school information inside the app, depending on their role and permissions. Exported documents are generated only when a user intentionally requests them.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or product changes. The latest published version on the web app should be treated as the current version.
